Covid-19 update

Following the National Government Guidelines, all Parish Council meetings have now been suspended until further notice.

The Parish Council will wind down the Covid - 19 Action Group with effect from 31st July 2020. Please see HERE a letter from Cllr Dougherty explaining how to obtain further help if required.

Please note that the play area and adult gym area beside the Village Hall remain closed. Unfortunately the guidelines issued to councils' to open their play areas are far too onerous for a small Parish Council to undertake and therefore the decision was taken at a meeting of the Parish Council on 13th July, that both areas remain closed for now. This decision will be continually reviewed and we ask all residents to respect this decision.

The Colchester Borough Council elections that were due to take place on 7th May 2020 have now been postponed until 2021.

The Village Hall is now closed until further notice and all events cancelled.

With effect from 8th June 2020, CBC are trialing a different method for residents to obtain recycling equipment, you can read about this HERE. With effect from 22nd June, all refuse and recycling collections will return to normal, view the current calendar HERE
